Hello again! Here is another two introductions!

Hiya! I'm Alexia or Lexi. I am mostly a jewellery person but I dabble in knitting, sewing and anything else that catches my fancy at the time. And (once I stop losing stitches so much) I hope to add crochet to my main repertoire.
At the moment I seem to be fixing more things than I am making so it's time for that to change!

Kylie, will join us some time in January, she’s a talented little vixen, who does amazing photography, awesome drawings and the cutest little soft toys. (she’s not joining us til then, because she’s getting married!!)

That's us, 5 girls, all with different talents, and interests, but we all love crafting! Keep checking in, we will be posting about all sorts of different things. Maybe about a project we are working on, or something we have done, or anything on our minds really!

Now for the third introduction! Then there is only one vixen left!

Good Morning Blogosphere! It’s great to meet you.
My name is Niki and I’m one of the Vixens from the Foxes Forge. I have been crafting since I was old enough to hold a stick of glitter glue and I have a very short attention span so have tried my hand at most crafts and I’m always looking for the next challenge.
My current craft of choice is crochet. I love lace and have never found a stitch I couldn't’t master but due to the for-mentioned short attention span I find larger items a challenge.
When I’m not crafting I love surfing the web, cooking and telling myself that one day I’ll write a novel I’ll be happy enough with to let anyone else read.
I’ll be starting off the silly season with a line of colourful slouch berets inspired by vintage doilies.
Moving into the new year I’m planning on adding the worlds most comfortable bracelets, in my opinion any fashion item should put comfort first, and designer caffeine cozies. These are perfect for the caffeine addict in your life and will protect hands from either a hot coffee cup or a cold bottle of V.

Check us out tomorrow, to meet Alexia. Don't forget there is new stock being added to the store everyday too!

Alright, I think it is about time I introduced one of the other vixens, let's start with Jayde, she's the clever vixen behind the steampunk pendants and brooches available in the store.

Hi, I'm Jayde. I love to make interesting jewellery, out of the insides of old watches and my ever-growing collection of gorgeous charms, in a Steampunk style. Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction and fantasy, featuring advanced machines and other technology based on steam power and clockwork of the 19th century. It’s u
sually set in Victorian era Britain or "Wild West"-era America. Steampunk often features anachronistic technology or futuristic inventions as Victorians may have envisioned them: like the machines found in works by Jules Verne and HG Wells. Each piece I make is handmade and totally one-of-a-kind, and has its own special name – and to be able to sell them to others for their own enjoyment, or as a gift, brings me joy.

I’m also an avid reader, and love spending time writing stories and tales of the strange and unusual. I’m a singer too, and whenever I have the opportunity I love to perform onstage in musical theatre.

Keep watching for our next post, we will be introducing the talented Alexia.

An introduction:

Yay! First blog post! Thought this would be a really good time to introduce the authors of this blog. We are a group of friends who are all a rather crafty-inclined; between us all we are really pretty skilled! Below is a rundown about each of us, so you know who it is behind each post, and each item in the store. Yes, you heard right, a store! You will be able to purchase our creations over at felt.co.nz/shop/foxesforge. How cool is that?

I am Anita *waves hello*, I love fabric, beads, paper, paint and canvases and all manner of other crafting supplies... even a sucker for glitter. I really enjoy creating things for my friends and family, handcrafted things make such awesome gifts.
I particularly love painting mixed media canvases (that means there is plenty on the canvas other than paint!), sewing little giftables, like purses, and love creating all sorts of other things.
I also love going out for coffee, going for bike rides and baking, but really kinda hate cooking meals. I am a self-confessed Pinterest addict and have somewhat of a list of blogs appearing in my gReader.
I hope that from opening a Felt store, and keeping this blog, we will have a bit of fun, I reckon having my paintings hanging in someone else’s home is pretty cool, and people enjoying the purses, whiteboards and whatever else I create and put up in the store.

So, now you know a little about me, let’s tell you a little more. Over the next few days I will introduce you to the other lovely ladies in on this, and introduce you to the goodies going up in the store. We will have some up for you to see straight away, but will keep some new exciting items to add over the next week or so... I know I love seeing new things in a shop! There several exciting goodies to share... they would certainly make great Christmas gifts!

Want to tell your friends about our blog or store, easy! We are on Facebook too, at facebook.com/foxesforge

I can’t wait to reveal our stock to you, this is pretty darn exciting!
